Shockwave axles are made from seamless cold drawn steel for better wall thickness consistency and axial flex characteristics, and finished using the finest centerless grinding techniques. There is no straighter axle anywhere. Axles are engraved with letters representing the grade for easy organization.

Shockwave 30mm axles are available in four grades, listed below with their respective wall thicknesses and the letter engraved on them:

Medium (M) – 3.5mm wall
Soft (S) – 3.0mm wall
Very Soft (VS) – 2.5mm wall
Ultra Soft (US) – 2.1mm wall

These four axles are all 1040mm long.

All axles require one of two pegged keys depending on whether your hubs have 6mm or 8mm wide keyways. For 6mm wide keyways, please use Pegged Key (size B), or for 8mm wide keyways, use Pegged Key (size C).
