History

Tafel Racing, owned by Jim Tafel and Tony Dowe is based in Cumming, Georgia, USA.  The two-car operation switched to the Ferrari F430 GTC in 2008 riding on Michelin Pilot Racing slicks.  Drivers Dominik Farnbacher (Germany) and Dirk Müller (Germany) drove the No. 71 Tafel/Bell Micro Racing Ferrari F430 GTC for the full season while Jim Tafel piloted the No. 73 with Alex Figge.

Tafel Racing's principal commitment is to winning.  Its primary objective, both immediate and long term, is to win whichever Championship it is competing in.  Although this may appear to be stating the obvious, it is a clear cut goal and there are no "ifs" or "buts". 

The Scalextric model

The ‘Super Resistant’ range now benefits from high detail decoration. The ‘Super Resistant’ rugged, light-weight bodies of the Ferrari F430 ensures hours of fun for the novice driver looking for fun and durable cars as well as for the enthusiastic who appreciates the high top speeds of these pocket-rockets.

The cars are also Digital Plug Ready (DPR). This means that the cars can be used on standard Scalextric straight out of the box or converted for use on the Scalextric Digital system in just a few seconds.
