History

The Ford Racing Mustang FR500C is a highly tuned race variant of the 2005 Ford Mustang. The car has a 5 litre engine delivering 420hp. The Blackforest Motorsports No.5 Ford Mustang GT of Ian James and Tom Nastasi won the opening race of the 2005 Grand-Am Cup Series, the Grand-Am Cup 200, at Daytona Beach in February. In October James and Nastasi repeated their success by winning the season finale at the Virginia International Raceway. Their victories enabled Ford to claim the 2005 Grand Am Cup Manufacturer's Championship.

The high detailed model has a full driver interior, finely detailed livery and working head and tail lights.

This Digital Plug Ready (DPR) car can be converted for use with the Scalextric Digital range in under sixty seconds using the C8515 Digital Plug. The car features adjustable Magnatraction™ positions and easy change pick-ups.
