History

Seat Sport Italia entered the Seat Leon in the 2007 WTCC season driven by Italian Roberto Colciago, a very experienced driver. Roberto finished the season with a 5th place in the Yokohama Independents’ Trophy.

The racing version of the Seat Leon is built at SEAT Sport’s facility in Martorell, Spain, and is one of the most advanced vehicles the division has produced to date. It is based on the 185 PS 2.0 TFSI road-going model and is tuned to produce around 280 PS.

Roberto Colciago is a Touring Car specialist with two Swedish and on Italian Championship title under his belt.
