The SmartyCam is a revolutionary solid-state digital video camera that can be used as a stand-alone camera or connected to an AiM data logger or ECU (ECU connection requires an ECU Bridge kit, sold separately). The built-in GPS and 3-axis accelerometer work together to calculate speed, acceleration, lap time, track map, and track position. All of this information can be overlaid on screen and recorded as part of the video footage -- without ever connecting the SmartyCam to another piece of equipment! You can even use it as a helmet cam on a bicycle, snowboard, or parachuting. Connect the SmartyCam to an ECU or an AiM data logger and you can expand the overlay to include information from those sources. Records up to 4 hours of DVD-quality video (720 x 400) on the included 4GB MicroSD memory card (supports up to 16GB cards). Battery lasts up to 3 hours; draws less than 1 amp when connected to vehicle power*. Waterproof for use on open cars, motorcycles, and personal watercraft. You can even take it scuba diving!
